Speakasia Online account freezed

By the recent news from News channels Speakasia Online survey company account has been freezed by United Overseas Bank of Singapore in Singapore and India. This news is also confirmed by P.R. Team of Speakasia online.

Because of this action on controversial online survey company speakasia, speakasia will not be able to pay its 19 lakh panelist , staff members and vendors. It is not confirmed that all its panelist will get paid but if they get paid it will take several weeks.

A statement on Speak Asia website says:

“Some banks have temporarily frozen accounts of our India-based agents. On 25 May, United Overseas Bank (UOB)pressed us for closure of our two bank accounts within two days.”

“All payments processed by Speak Asia Online between May 13 and 20, 2011 have been held up. We have been forced to delay our normally prompt payout cycle. We are moving the SC against authorities and concerned banks,” the statement added.
